Rev. Brown is a man after God’s own heart. He is saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Rev. Brown is anointed to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. His mission is to save the lost, to uplift the broken hearted, and to set the captives free in the Name of Jesus Christ.

His ministry was birthed under the leadership of the late Pastor C.L. Branch of Christland Missionary Baptist Church. He preached his first sermon in 1991 entitled, “Hope for Today-Jesus Christ.” Rev. Brown was ordained on February 16, 1997 by Pastor C.L. Branch and the ordination council.

Rev. Bruce Brown served faithfully at Christland Missionary Baptist Church for seventeen years. He served in many offices including Sunday school Teacher, Youth Superintendent, Deacon, Associate Minister, and lastly, Youth Pastor for seven years. On July 10, 2005, Christland Missionary Baptist Church and Pastor Allen Langford blessed and commissioned Rev. Bruce and Evangelist Althea Brown to go forth to carry on the work of the Kingdom of God through Victorious Living Outreach Ministries.

Victorious Living Outreach Ministries held its first service in the basement of Pastor Brown’s home on July 16, 2005. Pastor Brown sought the Lord and was directed to go to the streets to share the gospel and seek those that were lost, wounded and broken. Over 20 souls were saved and restored during the 8 week journey. Pastor Brown continued to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and VLOM held services at Embassy Suites in Southfield for one year. We acquired our present location at 13200 Puritan in August of 2006. In 2011, God allowed us to obtain a 2nd building at 13142 Puritan to begin our outreach ministries.

God instructed Pastor Brown to start visitation at a Nursing home in the 2nd year of the Ministry. The nursing home visitation has birthed a 2nd site at Heartland Health Care Center in Livonia, MI. We have Saturday Services every other week.

Rev. Bruce Brown is the son of the late Bernice and John Brown. He is the loving and devoted husband of Evangelist Althea Brown. He is the dedicated father of five lovely children: Bruce Jr., Brittany, Brandon, Byron, and Diamond Brown and the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Da’Lajhia (Daisy), Ta’Liah, Caz’MaRae, DeSean, Kymani, Khario, and Dallis.

Rev. Brown attended Cooley High School. He earned his Bachelor of Theology Degree from Tennessee School of Religion in May 2003 and Master of Theology Degree from Union Baptist Seminary in May 2014.
